Salary: EHCC/Support Staff
Salary Details: £18,562 – £19,974 FTE
Pro-Rata £7,152 – £7,696 (16.25 hours) or
Pro-Rata £11,179 – £12,030 (25.40 hours)
Lunch time £17,711 FTE
Pro-Rata £2,271 (5.40 hours)
Hours of Work: Either mornings 08:50 to 12:05 or whole school day 08:50 to 15:20
Possibility of an earlier start time one day a week (TBC)

We are looking to recruit both General Classroom Learning Support Assistants (Level 2), as well as 1 to 1 Support Assistants (Level 1) for a pupil in either lower or upper Key Stage 2. Please indicate your preference when applying, so that we can ensure we get the right person for each role.
The successful candidate must be able to work closely with the class teacher to support English and Maths both in and out of class. Experience of working in either Key Stage 1 or 2, within a mainstream setting is desirable. The candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience of working with children with SEMH or ASC needs on a 1-1 basis, but the ability to engage and build relationships with children is essential. This role may also suit a graduate with a long-term view to teacher training. Posts may also include lunchtime supervision in addition.

You will need:
- A good English and Maths skillset (GCSE / O Level Grade C or above )
- Good communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative
- To be able to work as a member of a team
- To relate well to both adults and children
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
