Volunteering in school

Netley Abbey Junior School Needs Your help!

  •  Are you a parent, grandparent or carer for one of our children?
  •  Do you have any spare time during the school week?
  •  Do you enjoy spending time with children and helping them?
  •  Would you like to help children to achieve their full potential?
  •  If the answer to these questions is yes, then we need you!

We always need caring, willing adults to help in school. This could be accompanying the children on school trips,  listening to readers, and supporting events in school.

If you are interested then please speak to your child’s class teacher or contact Mrs Sarah Kinsella, via the school office to discuss how you can help.

Park Sport 2021

Park Sport is the annual summer holiday programme held by Eastleigh Borough Council to encourage children and young people aged 5-16 to get active by trying something new and picking it up as a regular hobby.

It is funded by SportWorks as well as the Local Area Committees, Parish and Town Councils, and is supported by a broad range of partners including sports clubs, activity providers and facilities. After a long period of no structured activities for children and young people, Park Sport is excited to help children and young people reconnect with one another this summer.

The 2021 programme will run from 26 July to 28 August and bookings open late June. For more information on all the activities on offer, please visit the website:
