Lunchtime Sport Coach

  • Salary Details: £19,848 – £22,338 FTE (pro rata £2,867 – £3,227) Hourly Rate £10.30 to £11.60 per hour

Job/Person Summary

We are seeking a sports coach to work alongside our lunchtime team. You will have the commitment, energy and passion to effectively supervise pupils during the lunchtime. This position is available for an immediate start.

You will need to be a good time keeper, confident when dealing with pupils, a good communicator, a calm organiser and be able to work well in a team. You will hold level 2 coaching certificates and ideally have previous experience of working with children. A first aid qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

The role will involve : –

  • Supervising, supporting games activities and encouraging children to participate in lunchtime activities
  • Promoting independence, positive play and positive behaviour
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our children
  • Administering minor first aid (training will be provided)
  • Supervision of the children at lunchtime (indoor if wet)
  • Administering minor first aid (training will be provided)
